I don’t need much — I’m happy with a room of any size and enjoy sharing common spaces. What matters most to me is having a lively living room and kitchen where housemates naturally come together to cook, chat, and spend time. A garden would be a lovely bonus, but it’s definitely not a must. I’m also looking for something as long-term as possible, since I’m hoping to make Amsterdam my home.

Kind, open-minded people who enjoy both spending time together and respecting each other’s space — the balance of community and independence is important to me. I’d especially appreciate living with housemates who share some of my interests, like cooking communal veggie meals, going on hikes in nearby nature, or just having relaxed evenings at home. I’d be excited to join a queer, creative household, but I’m equally happy in any welcoming, queer-friendly community.

Hi! My name is Lua (they/them). I’m 24 years old, half-Dutch and half-Spanish. I usually speak English, but I'm also quite comfortable in Dutch — I grew up with a Dutch mom and have been taking intensive courses to improve. I recently completed a Master’s in History and Gender Studies at Oxford, and I’m currently doing an internship at the Amsterdam queer archive while also working at a café.
I love spending time in nature, reading, and going out dancing. I really enjoy cooking (mostly vegetarian and vegan dishes), and I’m a tidy and considerate housemate. I value shared meals and quality time with the people I live with, but I also appreciate having my own space and quiet moments.
