I'm not very picky, as long as I can have my own room (even a tiny one). I don't mind sharing the shower and the toilets.

Would prefer a non-smoker community. I enjoy having pets around (especially cats). I am also careful about my ecological impact (I'm a vegetarian for instance), and I appreciate the company of like-minded individuals. Very commited when it comes to household tasks. I also appreciate occasional communal dinners.

I'm Aurel, French Amsterdam-based drummer (I don't practice drums at home, I have another space for that). My situation is the following: I'm currently subrenting a room in a woongroep in the Jordaan, from someone who went on a long trip. Really nice spot but all good things come to an end; I must to give back the room in the end of june. Before that, I was also in a shared house in Zaandam, so I am used to living in community. Concerning my personality at home, I'm a quiet person who enjoys reading and watching movies, and I'm very thorough with household chores (as my former housemate Christine put it: "any household would be happy to have you."). I also very often cook my own food, and occasionally for my housemates.
I'm 34 and I graduated from the Conservatory of Amsterdam (jazz drums Bachelor's and Master's). Besides my concerts, I'm also teaching as a freelancer. I teach privately at my studio in Treehouse (NDSM), and at a pretty big music school, Aslan Muziekcentrum (I teach in Dutch there).
In addition to that, I'm also actively working on my Dutch. It's now satisfying for teaching, but my next goal is to be completely fluent in everyday conversations. I'm also in the process of getting familiar with the culture, checking out medias ranging from Lubach's show to Spinoza's works (quite eclectic, I know).
