Hi,
I’m Yonas, 29 years old. I used to have Frederik Hendrikplantsoen as my “front yard” in Amsterdam. I work as a freelancer in the cultural and creative sector, mainly at festivals and events, in roles such as production assistant or project manager. Since early September, I’ve been temporarily staying with friends, so I’m now urgently looking for a new place to live in Amsterdam.
In my free time, I enjoy cultural activities such as festivals, art fairs, theater, and film. I also enjoy being creative with short films, photography, drawing, clay modeling, and making things in general. I’m good at fixing things (bikes, furniture, appliances) and like solving problems myself. In addition, I’m teaching myself guitar and programming, two new challenges that I really enjoy. I also love traveling (preferably outside Europe), reading, and cooking (elaborate) meals. Sometimes I go for a ride on my racing bike or simply relax in a park or café. Occasionally, I also do volunteer work.
I’d describe myself as calm, sociable, and open-minded. I have experience living with people from diverse backgrounds and highly value a friendly, respectful, and clean living environment.
