My ideal space is basically a cozy, slightly chaotic house where I can fully retreat, but also easily end up in the kitchen talking for hours. I have my own room that’s big enough for a proper desk, books, posters and all my random stuff. I do enjoy talking with my housemates, so my ideal situation would being able to talk to everyone in the shared spaces. The vibe is inclusive, queer‑friendly, international, and people actually communicate about cleaning, quiet hours and boundaries.

Hi! I'm Flora, I'm 19 years old and I turn 20 this month. I'm studying American Studies in Nijmegen, where I’m also doing a board year with USA Nijmegen, our study association. I spend a lot of time organizing events and trying to make the association more inclusive and approachable, so creating a welcoming vibe is kind of second nature to me. I'm from the Betuwe originally, and have lived in a student house for 1,5 years already so I know how to live with other people.
I like going out and partying, but I also love doing low-key activities such as movie nights. Sometimes Ireally need my alone time to recover from social stuff and focus on studying. Outside of uni and my board year, I work next to my studies, and most of my free time goes to films, music , and random creative projects.
I’m very queer‑friendly, and big on clear communication, so I’m looking for a house where people respect boundaries, are okay talking things out!
