Hello Everyone,
I have been living in a group in south-west of Amsterdam for 7 years already. The composition of the group has changed, people have changed and so have I. By now I feel very much ready and wanting to live on my own. And in all honesty, I can't say we have a good flow together as a group any more, so I would like to step away.
So I am searching for a swap partner within the social housing system within Amsterdam.
My space is a 12m2 bedroom and 20m2 living room on the top floor (2nd floor in Dutch system), both private. Both rooms get lots of light during the whole day. The space is a top corner space, so there are no neighbours on the other side. Bathroom and kitchen are shared with one other person. I wouldn't like to share pictures of my personal space online, but we can have a video call for a preview.
The house has 4 adressed, so there are 3 more people on the 1st floor, 2 of which are a couple. There is another bathroom down, and a big kitchen and living room on the ground floor. Along with a garden and laundry room.
The area is quiet, green, safe and very residential. Supermarket in 10 min walking. Tram and bus 5 min walking.
The age of current group is 28-42 and I think the best candidate would probably be in the same age group, more or less. There is no option for furry house pets because of an allergic housemate. Historically and currently, everyone in the house is creatively inclined in one way or another, so that is a plus. Most important is a match in values and communication styles. So if you are of a different age and more scientifically inclided, let's talk anyway.
What I am looking for is an independent living space in Amsterdam. Or a private space with shared bathroom, kitchen with one person. Or a private and independent space within a group , however I would need a lot of time for myself. Areas that I prefer: Amsterdam West, Nieuw-West, Zuid. Badhoevedorp, Amstelveel could also be an option.
