This is Elaf! I’m 28, single, a lively working woman. Three years ago, I left my home country, Saudi Arabia, for good and moved to the Netherlands in search of freedom and a life that truly aligns with who I am. Since then, I’ve been building my life in Utrecht, surrounded by people and spaces that reflect creativity, openness, and a sense of belonging. Lately, however, I’ve felt that this is the right moment for a change of scenery. I would love to move to Amsterdam, as the city offers larger, more international communities that align well with both my personal and professional path.
I hold a degree in Translation and work remotely, which gives me flexibility and a healthy work–life balance. I value slow living, meaningful connections, and diversity. I enjoy traveling, discovering new cultures, meeting people from different backgrounds, and being part of open and inclusive environments. Music and creativity play an important role in my life and help me feel grounded and inspired.
As a person, I am clean, neat, and very organized. I take good care of my living space and value a calm, respectful home atmosphere. Open communication, honesty, and mutual respect are essential to me, especially when living with others. I believe a home should be a safe and comfortable place where everyone feels heard and at ease.
My ideal place in Amsterdam can be anywhere in the city. What matters most to me is that it is safe, private, clean, and allows me to have my own space. I’m comfortable living with others, but I don’t require constant socializing, I truly appreciate independence and a peaceful environment.
