I am currently living in the Bos en Lommer area of Amsterdam and am planning to move in March. I am looking for a place in areas such as Zuid, Amstelveen, Sloterdijk, or Oost—anywhere within about an hour’s cycling distance to Amsterdam Central. I am also open to nearby cities such as Utrecht or Haarlem.

I am looking for a single room as my living space. A room large enough to fit a bed, a desk, and a wardrobe is sufficient. A size of around 10–15 m² would be ideal.

I would prefer a shared home with women in their 30s to 40s. I am open to sharing breakfast and dinner together. I enjoy cooking and can prepare a variety of Asian dishes. I value sharing responsibilities such as building or garden maintenance and cleaning. Through my experience in communal living, I am used to and confident in doing the dishes, keeping the kitchen organized, and cleaning shared bathrooms. I do not smoke, and I enjoy having a glass of wine with dinner.

I am a writer and film director, currently in my second year of the master’s program at the Netherlands Film Academy. I spend most of my time reading, writing, and watching films. My daily routine usually looks like this: I wake up around 8 a.m. and spend about an hour meditating and practicing yoga. After a light breakfast, I go to a café or the library to work. I prefer cooking and having dinner at home, though sometimes I go out in the evening to see a performance or a film. To support myself, I work part-time at a Korean restaurant two to three times a week and teach Korean online in the evenings. I also travel abroad for work about two to three times a year.
About my experience with shared living: I lived with two close friends for five years. This time, we were unable to find a place to live together, so we are each looking for our own housing. At home, I usually took care of the small but important household details that busy housemates often miss, such as keeping everyday supplies stocked, cleaning the bathroom, grocery shopping, and dusting shelves. I know how to respect privacy while sharing a space, and I am considerate, attentive, and prefer a calm and quiet living environment.
I do not have any pets, but I do have a small bicycle, which is like a companion to me.
