We’re looking for a temporary housemate to join our home from 1 April until 1 December (period is open to discussion). At the moment, we are three people living here, aged between 27 and 37. House is inclusive and welcoming to people of all genders and nationalities.
The house is located just a 3-minute walk from Nijmegen station. There’s a garden, and the available room has direct access to it through large glass doors/windows. The room is on the ground floor, next to the kitchen, and is around 17 m². It used to serve as a living room, so it’s only partially furnished right now, with a couch and a coffee table. Because of the high ceiling, we’re planning to install a loft bed, but we’re also open to figuring out the layout together once you move in.
We’re all working adults with fairly busy routines, so there isn’t a structured shared household life, but we do have a weekly cleaning schedule that everyone participates in. Two of us besides work quite involved in Nijmegen’s diy and activist life, and the third often works away during the week, plays music and periodically has his large, very friendly dog staying over.
We’re hoping to find someone relaxed and with experience of living in shared households —having a good calm matter vibe at home matters to us.
