Would you like to live in a small community? Organize one of the biggest house parties in Wageningen? Create order in chaos or contribute to the chaos with your own creations? Have daily communal dinners, chit chats and go on random adventures?
In our house several rooms are opening up around summer/spring. One is subrent with chance of becoming permanent from May until August, the others are permanent rooms becoming available May 10th and around June/July.
We are mixed house of working people, master and bachelor students. Our house has cozy vibes, shared groceries, daily communal dinners (vegan/vegetarian), occasional parties and the possibility of building life long friendships! We are part of the Wilde Wereld Association meaning the maintenance and administration is done bottom up. The rent is around 380 incl. gas, water, light, also rent subsidy is possible.
We live with 9 people and a cat, in a large space where we hang out everyday. In summer we go to the Rhine for bbqs, walks and camping trips. In the winter we play games, bake cookies and watch TV. Also we always have lots of plans for other activities and trips and sometimes even follow up on them!! We all have different hobbies but also some overlapping ones such as making music, doing sports together, DIY in and around the house and watch art house movies. The place has a long history of activism and engagement in different social movements, but there is ofc no pressure in doing so yourself 😉! Our house has a social atmosphere and we love having people over! However the communal spaces as well as the rooms are spacious so there is room to retreat as well.
Right now we are a mix of Dutchies and internationals ranging from early 20s to early 30s, we welcome anyone to apply to the room regardless of gender, sexuality, ethnicity, age, occupation, etc. The only pres there really are; someone who is planning to stay for multiple years; who enjoys communal living; and loves caring for our cat Fufu.
