We are part of a larger community of 50 people known as Strowijk Iewan. Iewan is a community based on social and ecological living. We share some amazing facilities, like a beautiful garden, a workshop, office space, a little eco-grocery and a cool multi-functional yoga space / event venue / café and more - the pleasure and responsibility of these you will share with the rest of Iewan. We also have some pretty high-tech sustainability systems, like a wastewater filtering system and a set of solar panels that together provide us with, on average, 100% of our electricity use (how awesome is that!?). Iewan is situated on the east side of Lent, right next to the river and a quick 15 minute bikeride from the Nijmegen city centre. Since our new room mate Petra will just join us in May, we are searching for a subrenter until she is coming to join us. Keep in mind that the room till now only has a bed and a wardrobe in it, so enough space to bring your own things to make it cozy. The room is a bit more than 20 m2 big with big windows and a little cozy corner for the bed.

Are you looking for a nice place to stay for 1-3 months? Do you have a heart for nature and the environment? Would you like to live in a friendly, social, ecological community? We may be looking for you! We are Flo, Olja, Leandra and Flynn, our dog. We share a kitchen, living room and bathroom together, and we each have a spacious bedroom (just over 20m2). We are living together just like a little family; we are having dinner together every night (not mandatory, it’s just much more cozy to eat together) and share almost all of our groceries (vegetable box which we receive weekly from a local farmer and other groceries which we get at the voko).
