so right now the people who have lived here for longer pay 470 but the newest tennant got a contract for 750 a month, but we have suspicions that when using the points system by the huurcommissie the rent should be lower, so it is a bit unsure but chances are big you will get a contract for 750

- our house is on the Brahmslaan in the wijk buitenhof in Delft. Delft station is a 10-20 minute bike ride, depending on who you ask :). We live in a “rijtjeshuis”. We have a garden and behind the garden is a park with big trees. 3 minute walk from a park and a 10 min bike ride from the Abwoutse bos. We live right behind the hospital “reinier de graaf” so if you break your leg this comes in handy! Bus stop is a 5 min walk and tram stop diepenbrockstraat is 10 min walk. Lidl is a 5 min walk.

- You walk into our front garden with a shed and space for bikes and our bins. When you enter the house the kitchen is on the left, we have quite some kitchen space and a good oven. After that you will enter the “ballroom” which contains the microwave and extra fridge and freezer and random stuff. There is also the “harry potter” (fuck JK Rowling) room underneath the stairs for food storage. We have a communal living room with big couch and tv. Then the beautifull garden that we are trying to make more biodiverse and we had baby koolmezen in our nestkastje!! the two floors each have 2 rooms and a bathroom with shower and toilet.

- Room is 4x3,5 plus a 1x1 ‘walk in’ closet. There is storage space downstairs in the “ballroom”/”harry potter” room and in the shed and kitchen. You share the bathroom with 1 other person.

Our “woongroep” is right now more roommates that like eachother. But 2 of the people living in the house are planning on staying in the house for quite some time and are also excited about living with others and sharing our life more than just living with eachother, that is why we are advertising on this website. We talk to eachother whenever we see eachother, but there are no obligations besides doing your cleaning tasks. We try to have a “housemeet” every month to talk about anything that bothers anyone. We would like to have game nights or movie nights or whatever but our communal AD(H)D has not let that happen yet...

We are now with 4 people, Arya, Kristi, Moos and Sam. Kristi will leave us somewhere in the near future (we are not sure yet when)
I’m Moos (they/them), I’m 24. Right now I am obsessed with birds, trees, moss and lichen. I do volunteering work for trans people who do DIY HRT, I work in a garden and I study psychology in leiden. I hang out in the living room a lot reading books or listening to cd’s.
I'm Arya (she/her). I'm 22 years old. I work as a software engineer at a little nonprofit in Amsterdam. I am pretty quiet, I spend most of my time programming in my room. I really like bouldering and I play table tennis every week.
I’m Sam (they/them), 26. I work as a routesetter for a couple of bouldering and climbing gyms. Next to this, I spend most of my time climbing, often outdoors. Because I’m currently injured :( I’ve been spending more time in the garden drawing insects.
And then there is our kristi who is currently looking for a place in the Hague! - Ideal resident

IMPORTANT: we are not sure yet when Kristi will leave us. She is looking for a house in the hague and is becoming more and more successful and we already wanted to start looking for a person so we don’t have to do it in a stressfull little amount of time. But probably somewhere this summer so either august or september, probably!
We are looking for someone who is actively choosing to live with other people. We are trying to build a bit of community in our house and in the neighbourhood, so ideally someone who is planning to stay in Delft for the near future and wants to spent time together. Age wise we prefer someone who is older than 20 years old. We are a very trans household and we are looking for people who are comfortable around trans people, in particular using they/them pronouns (or is willing to practice with that), or are trans themselves. We are not really a party party household, so if that is what you are looking for we are probably not it. Also preferably not someone who likes to blast loud music every day :) - Images
