Ideal location
As a nature lover, I dream of a space where I can spend time outdoors, maybe near the beach, a park, forest, communal garden, in proximity to my house. I study arts at the KABK, so proximity to the city centre would be desirable.
Ideal space
I have experience living with family, friends and housemates of all different ages. I am therefore open to many forms of shared living spaces. I am respectful of other people's need for space and time in a shared environment, but am always willing to spend quality time building resilient and caring relationships with the people around me.
I don't have specific requirements regarding number of rooms of size of the space.
Ideal group
I am continuously looking for safe spaces where I can meet new people, share, learn, create and feel a sense of togetherness. I love to cook and eat with others, as well as collaborate on projects and different aspects of daily life. I am involved in local communities back in France (organising gardening events with local primary schools, supporting Ukrainian refugees...), as well as in the Netherlands (Conscious Kitchen, Spinozahof garden, Duurzaam Den Haag). I am a passionate gardener, and I am very interested in complexes rooted in self-management.
I prefer a non-smoking space as I am sensitive and can be prone to asthma.
Describe yourself
I am a Franco-british student currently studying Fine Arts at the KABK. I am planning to live in The Hague for at least 4 years.
I am passionate about my studies and work hard at them. My practice is rooted in environmental activism as well as sustainable material research. I draw, sew, dance and cook with others as much as I can. I also love to play the piano, guitar and cello, but they have stayed back home in France... I am also a passionate gardener, and am currently working on regenerating spaces and learning permaculture.
I love to walk in nature, cycle, run, surf and do yoga. I fell in love with the dunes of The Hague when I first arrived, and love exploring these areas.
I live on my own and will not be bringing any pets, but I am searching for a space which allows overnight visitors.
I work part time in the Green Office of the KABK, a student-led initiative that works on education, research, community building and policy influence around sustainabillity to promote responsible ways of art & design making and living. And, as a coffee lover, I also work part-time in a small cafe in Scheveningen.
