Ideal space
I work from home part of the time so having a room large enough to also have a desk in is required for me.
Having a shared kitchen and community living room would be great.
Ideal group
Ages ranging from late 20's to early 50's, but I'm flexible! I'd love to live with a group that is open minded and well traveled. Mixed nationalities and life experiences.
Folks that are excited to share space together and live and flow communally, Independent in our own lives. But are also invested in keeping our shared space lively.
Describe yourself
Hey! My name is Maya, I am 30 years old and have been living in the Netherlands for 2.5 years now.
I grew up in Colorado and have a deep connection to nature and the mountains.
I am loving this city phase of my life and am really looking forward to finding a new community living space in Amsterdam.
I am unfortunately going through break up and my ex-partner and I are selling our home in Zaandam.
Before moving to the Netherlands I lived on a community land project for just under two years. Living with about 20 other people in a sustainable farm community. I love living with others and am looking forward to finding the right group of folks to join.
I work remotely as a sign language interpreter and I am also an artist & designer and have a studio at Het Salon.
I have two amazing Mainecoon Cats that are just under 1 year old; Sasha & Zia, they are brother and sister. I would love to bring them with me in this separation. It is possible for my Ex-partner to take them but I would prefer to keep them with me. They are very sweet and friendly.
I travel often usually gone for a few months in the winter and in the summer for festival season.
I have quite a amazing group of friends here in Amsterdam. I would like my home to be flexible and feel welcome to have friends over for dinner a few times a week and am open to sharing meals with our others in community as well.
Making baked goods for everyone is part of my love language
I am easy going, direct in my communication, and fun. I like to go out for a party one weekend, and the next stay cozy at home with tea and a movie. I am creative and would love to live with other musicians to play guitar and sing with from time to time as well.
