Ideal location
Idealy we would like to live in Utrecht, but the North of Nieuwegein would also be fine.
Ideal space
A house or appartment with a big (common) kitchen, livingroom and several bedrooms that would function as the private room.
Ideal group
One, two or three people (can be a couple) that like to live with other people (maybe you allready have experience as a student) We would like to eat together regulary. An occasional activity together would be nice, such as play a boardgame, watch a movie or do something spontanious. We would prefer people that allready started working, but if you are finishing your studies it is also fine. We are also open to people who want to start looking for renting a house together.
Describe yourself
We are Marieke(27) and Wybe(31). We have been together for six years now and moved to Utrecht earlier this year after some months of travelling together. We have both been living in student houses and/or co-living spaces for about 9 years. Right now we are hopping houses every now and then because finding our own place seems almost impossible right now. We like living together, but living with multiple other roomates is even more fun! That's why we thought of a plan to rent a house with multiple people. We are a sporty, social and outgoing couple who would like to live with other people. We will introduce ourselves shortly.
I'm Marieke and I'm a teacher in primary school. I currently work in Utrecht and Amersfoort. When I'm not entertaining the kids I like to do all kinds of stuff. I used to do gymnastics but since I'm 27 now that makes you basically a gymnastics grandma. Currently I'm trying other sports such as kickboxing, bouldering and rock and roll dancing. I also love to join the skateparade every now and then :) Besides being active in different sports I also gather hobbies. Currently I'm into baking sourdough bread, cooking, watercolour painting and learning how to play guitar. But who knows when I will find a new hobby to try. As a roommate I like to come home and have a chat with my roommates, eat togheter or do some spontanious activity.
I'm Wybe and I'm currently looking for a new job. When I'm not job-hunting, I like to do all kinds of stuff. I'm really into bouldering, cooking, and watching movies (especially horror or arthouse). But my biggest hobby is playing board games, so I might invite you to a game night. I lived with roommates for 8 years in Enschede and 3 years in Zoetermeer. Fun fact: I had a goat as pet for 2 years. As a roommate, I like to come home and have a chat, cook and eat together, or go do some sports together.
