Ideal location
We are looking to live off of the land. Growing vegetables and herbs, foraging, building things from trash, regenerative living. Preferably near a city with a train station, but not a hard must.
Ideal space
Preferably in an existing structure. With a private bedroom and bathroom. But we are also open to getting a caravan and just putting it on some land. Having excess to outside space to live and grow is the main priority.
Ideal group
Sharing meals together is super nice! But we also need the space to not do that every night. Sharing the abundance of collective labour is amazing! Open communication is very important to us, as we are both neurodivergent.
Describe yourself
We are Charly (they/them) and Erin (they/them), a creative queer couple. We are both neurodivergent. Charly is an artist specialized in textiles, performance and nature art. Learning new skills, doing research and making art is what they mostly fill their days with. Erin is a social engagement artist who is specialized in accessibility, community engagement, lgbtqia+ and disability inclusion. They remotely work for a lgbtqia+ center and are looking to expand their art practice. We both have a huge interest in herbalism and living off of the land. We want to live regeneratively. Growing our own vegetables, herbs and flowers and giving back to the land and existing ecosystems. We are both disabled, which means we have a smaller energy tank then most. We focus on living slowly and filling our day with things that give energy. Charly had lived in a student house in which there is a shared kitchen and living room, and Erin has lived in multiple shared houses. We think that for living collectively , open communication is very important.
